Dear Participants, Volunteers, and Supporters,
Welcome to the 2023 Mayford Summer Tournament! We are thrilled to have you all here today as we embark on a weekend journey of community, volunteering, and supporting youth football in Woking and the surrounding areas since the club was founded in 1968.
Volunteering lies at the heart of this tournament, and we are indebted to the countless individuals who have generously given their time and energy to ensure its success. Your selflessness is a shining example of the spirit of community that defines our area. Through the efforts of everyone attending today that gives up time, we can create an environment where our children can thrive, learn, and grow both on and off the field.
Our primary focus is to support the development of our young footballers. The annual tournaments as well as the leagues, provide them with one small opportunity to showcase their skills, hopefully learn a few valuable life lessons along the way together with some long lasting friendships.
We believe that by coming together as a community, volunteering our time, and supporting the development of our children, we can create a brighter future for all. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey, and we wish everyone a memorable and successful tournament!
